How to login to SpringerLink

How do I login?

As a member of the International Mine Water Association you are entitled to access SpringerLink’s electronic content for “Mine Water and the Environment”. To access this secure content, you must have an individual account. Please visit https://link.Springer.com and log in to your individual account, register or reset your password to enter your unique annual Association Code for online access.

How do I login with my existing account?

If you already have an account, please visit https://link.Springer.com. Click on “Log in” in the login box at the top right, then enter your e-mail-address, press “Continue →” and enter your password on the next screen. After you pressed again “Continue →”, you will see “Account” at the top right. Click on “Account”, select “Subscriptions and purchases”, and from there click “Linked institutions”. Once you copied your Association Code into the field “Enter code” click “Link Institution”. You now have access to “Mine Water and the Environment” through Springer Nature. How do I register a new account?

If you are not a registered user of SpringerLink, please visit https://link.Springer.com. Click on “Log in” in the login box at the top right corner. On the next screen, type in your e-mail-address and follow the instructions that Springer Nature will send you in an e-mail with the subject “confirm your email address”. Once you clicked the link in the e-mail and provided a password you follow the instructions above, “How do I login with my existing account?”. I forgot my existing Username or Password

If you are not sure whether you have an existing account or you have forgotten your user details, please visit https://link.Springer.com. Click on “Log in” in the login box in the top right corner, type in your e-mail-address, press “Continue →” and press “Forgot your password?” on the next screen. Once you clicked “Send reset instructions →”, Springer Nature will send you an e-mail from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. In future, when you return to SpringerLink and log in, enter “Mine Water and the Environment” to access our journal. You will not need to enter an Association Code again for the current year’s access. Your new Code will be valid until 30 April the following year.
