News: Financial support available for students and delegates from developing countries.

On behalf of IMWA, the EC has voted to provide AUD$2,500 support for financial aid for student and developing world delegates to the IMWA2012.

The financial aid will be distributed by the conference organisers to full-time students who need financial aid to attend IMWA2012, or citizens of developing countries that need financial aid to attend.

Registration

The conference desk will be located at the Welcome Drinks, the Bunbury Entertainment Centre (only when the conference is being held there) and at Edith Cowan University. Please register before attending any of the sessions. We recommend that you register at the Welcome drinks on Sunday.

All conference fees must be paid for in advance of the conference (except were prior arrangements have be made in writing with the conference organisers).

During the congress (Monday - Thursday), the conference desk will be open between 8:00 and 17:00. 

Registration for Conference Participation

To participate in the conference, you need to register at the IMWA 2012 Registration page. If you want to change or cancel your registration, please contact the Conference Organisers by email or mail (see below).

For organisational purposes, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation in all congress events (even when included in the registration fee).

Recognising the strong Australian dollar, distance to Perth and financial turmoil in some areas, the Organising Committee has worked hard to keep registration costs as low as possible to assist IMWA members to attend.

Other costs include $25 for the Conference Dinner and $15 for the Aussie BBQ (with most of the cost for these events covered by your registration). Due to the size of the venue, tickets will be limited to attend the Conference Dinner and will be issued via registration.

Conference

The registration fees for the conference includes the following: Conference participation Conference bag (badge, city map, congress program), all health breaks and lunches, transport between venues, Welcome drinks, mid-congress excursion, printed proceedings volume, and list of participants.  

Accompanying persons

The fee for accompanying persons includes Welcome drinks, transport between venues and the mid-congress excursion. Daily tours are available at additional cost. Accompanying persons are welcome to attend the Conference Dinner and Aussie BBQ for the same small fee as for delegates.

Workshops

The registration fee for the workshops includes all handouts, transport from select hotels, lunch and health breaks. The workshops will take place with a minimum of 10 participants (limited places available).

Post-congress excursions

The fee includes transport, admission fees, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and handouts (limited places available).

Cancellation

Substitutions will be accepted at any time, please notify us in writing.

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Office. Cancellations received before Monday, 27 August 2012 will receive a refund of registration fees less an administration charge of $250.00. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. The accommodation deposit (equivalent to one night's accommodation at the conference rate) will be forfeited for all cancellations received after Monday, 27 August 2012 or if the room is not occupied on the advised date of arrival. The relevant hotel cancellation policy terms and conditions will apply and the cost will be borne by the delegate (see Accommodation for more details). The Conference Office cannot accept new bookings or amendments to existing bookings after Monday, 27 August 2012.

Privacy Policy

In registering for this conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a participant list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation only). Details may be made available to parties directly related to the conference including venue and accommodation providers (for the purpose of room bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and to inform you via email of future IMWA conferences. You have the option to remove yourself from this list, while completing the registration form or by emailing the conference organisers (ICMS).
